AXW Welcomes New Family Members

 

So So Def Recordings, founded by Grammy Award-winning producer Jermaine Dupri in 1989, is a record label based in Atlanta, Georgia. With over 400 million records sold to date, Jermaine has collaborated with an extensive list of artists such as Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye West, Notorious B.I.G., Lil’ Kim, Run DMC, and more. In 2011, he launched Global 14, which consists of more than 1,100 groups who share common interests such as fashion, hip hop, and R&B. Jermaine is the Executive Producer of the unscripted Lifetime series “The Rap Game,” and recently starred in the BET docu-series “Music Moguls,” alongside Snoop Dogg, Birdman and Damon Dash. Jermaine also currently has a recurring role on the TV series “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

Jermaine has been a longtime personal friend since 2000, when we first collaborated while representing *NSYNC. I’m incredibly proud of Jermaine’s extraordinary success with The Rap Game franchise, and his continued material impact on the future of hip hop, R&B, and other music genres. AXW will be working with Jermaine and his team on partnership marketing and business development initiatives.

Festival Napa Valley. The ten best days of summer.

Every July, California’s wine country is on stage. Breathtaking performances in iconic wine country settings are paired with Napa Valley’s unparalleled food, wine and hospitality. Recognized for bringing the world’s top artists to deliver a fully curated experience and transforming the famous wine region into a cultural destination, Festival Napa Valley attracts artists and audiences from the world over. Festival Napa Valley is presented by Napa Valley Festival Association, a nonprofit public benefit corporation governed by a board of prominent vintners and local leaders. More than 200 artists, wineries, resorts, theaters, restaurants, chefs, and vintners participate each year. In 2017, the festival raised over $2.5 million in support of Arts For All, the organization’s community outreach and education program, which makes the arts accessible to everyone in Napa Valley. AXW is excited to be working with Festival Napa Valley on accelerating partnership development efforts and strategic growth opportunities.

PS LIFESTYLE’S AMERICAN SENIOR MAGAZINE PARTNERS WITH TOWNSQUARE MEDIA FOR “SALUTE TO SENIORS”

AXW conceived and facilitated a partnership between PS Lifestyle and Townsquare Media. As part of the partnership, PS Lifestyle’s American Senior Magazine teamed up with six Townsquare Media radio stations in the Northeast on a radio program called “Salute to Seniors.” From September through the first week of December, each week, the stations highlight a nominated senior who has played a part of making their community a great place to live. Each senior’s personal story is then broadcast over the airwaves to the station’s weekly listeners, as well as promoted on the stations’ website and social media pages. At the end of the program, featured seniors receive a one year subscription to the magazine and will be honored by the partners at a special luncheon hosted by Townsquare Media.

KNOW FOODS FEATURED IN BEYOND TYPE 1’S “BIKE BEYOND” DOCUMENTARY

Beyond Type 1, a global non-profit organization focusing on education, advocacy, and a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, debuted their documentary “Bike Beyond” in LA on Tuesday, November 14th—World Diabetes Day. The documentary follows a team of 20 individuals with Type 1 diabetes as they ride across the country from New York to San Francisco to spread awareness about Type 1. KNOW Foods is prominently featured in the film, as they were a national presenting sponsor of the Bike Beyond program, providing their delicious and healthy food products for the riders throughout the 10-week trek. KIDS FILM IT FESTIVAL & CHARITYBUZZ RAISE MONEY FOR MICHAEL J. FOX FOUNDATION

The 2nd annual Kids Film It Festival was held at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last week. Kids Film It is the brainchild of Cleveland-area 8th grader, Ryan Levine, and affords kids the opportunity to showcase their filmmaking, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to benefit Parkinson’s Research. This year, the festival brought in $46,000, but donations can still be made through December to reach their $60,000 goal. In support of this goal, Charitybuzz currently has a number of exciting experiences up for auction, with bids supporting the festival and Michael J. Fox Foundation.
