Diet Coke, Coke Zero cans to now have Coca-Cola’s trademark red packaging

Coca-Cola is replacing packaging of its Diet Coke and Coke Zero cans and bottles with the trademark red packaging of brand Coke. This is in line with its global ‘one brand, one marketing’ strategy announced mid last year, the beverages maker said. (Read More)

Marketers have spent many millions over the decades to conceive, design, update and reimagine their logos. It makes sense, given how consistently consumers see a logo—even as ad campaigns come and go. The One Drop Foundation, Guy Laliberté’s international non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to safe water, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by launching ’10 Waves of One Drop.’ This series of fundraising initiatives will offer unique celebrity experiences through Charity Network’s online auctions and sweepstakes to benefit One Drop, with half of the proceeds going to the celebrities’ charities of choice. Sebastian-Vail honored as a Colorado top resort by Conde Nast Traveler

The Sebastian-Vail, managed by Timbers Resorts, was recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as one of the best in the United States in the magazine’s 30th Annual Readers’ Survey. More than 300,000 readers of the travel magazine participated in the annual Readers’ Choice survey. The Sebastian was voted the No. 5 Top Hotel in Colorado. (Read More)



Tapping into Mocktail Mania

The market for nonalcoholic cocktails is growing as more consumers seek the refreshment of a mixed drink without the liquor, said Vesselina Tintikova of Sensient Flavors. ArKay Beverages is prepping to debut a line of ready-to-drink bottled mocktails in flavors such as mojito and gin fizz, while Ocean Spray is rolling out its Mocktails line with varieties that include Cranberry Peach Bellini and Cranberry Sangria. Weight Watchers Is Launching Low-Calorie White Wine

Diet empire Weight Watchers is getting into the wine business. The company just announced a lower-calorie Sauvignon Blanc, called Cense, which has fewer points per glass than the typical vino. A 5-oz. glass contains just 85 calories, compared to the typical 120 calories in most glasses of wine. Weight Watchers partnered with California producer Truett-Hurst Winery, which makes wines for retailers like Trader Joe’s. (Read More)


The TSA’s Precheck program is coming to the 49ers’ and Jets’ home games

Identity-services company IdentoGo has a multi-year partnership with the 49ers and Jets to provide Precheck enrollment stations at those stadiums during home games. IdentoGo will also implement Fast Pass lanes this season, so fans who are deemed “trusted” can get through lines quicker. TSA Precheck is a security program that lets frequent flyers move through security checkpoints with shorter lines, without removing their shoes, laptops, liquids, belts, and light jackets. (Read More)
