A former point guard, Sara understands the influence of an in-depth strategy on a winning play. At AXW, she is the ultimate playmaker developing strategic partnerships for her accounts across wellness, philanthropy, and travel. In her Client Services role, Sara collaborates with her clients on how to raise brand awareness through stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and business development. Never one to stand on the sidelines, on or off the court, Sara jumped into action by becoming highly active in sports, healthcare, and social responsibility after college. Her parents, both doctors, inspired her to ‘pay it forward’ by choosing a path that provides her with a sense of purpose while also serving the community at large. After studying political science in undergrad at Duke, Sara went on to work for the Senator Daschle of South Dakota, focusing on healthcare and corporate social responsibility. She continued her education at The University of Pennsylvania, earning a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership. Upon graduation, she landed a role on the social impact team at the consulting firm Weber Shandwick, where she exclusively worked with Nike on creating global community impact around the world. After working in the public and private sector, Sara wanted to explore start-up life at a media company. This led her to The Worth Group, where she focused on partnership development and relationship management with specific expertise in philanthropy, sports, media and health & wellness. When she’s not busy supporting her AXW team, you can find Sara attending a film premiere at The Wing, working-out at a boutique fitness class in Chelsea, watching an NBA game with her friends, or designing sneakers at Nike’s pop-up shop in Soho to add to her collection of 50+ kicks.
